Interested in getting involved in research in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences? Looking for ways to connect with faculty mentors and build your resume? Just curious about what happens in labs behind the scenes of a SONA experiment? This workshop will guide you through the process of searching for and applying to labs, the benefits of undergraduate research, and specialized programs to support your research involvement at UMass and beyond. Dr. Astheimer will host an expert panel including current and former undergraduate research assistants, faculty, and graduate students who will share their experiences and advice and answer all of your questions.
If you are planning to graduate next February or May of 2022, you should attend a Senior Meeting. Prof. Tammy Rahhal will be providing you with information related to your Psychology graduation requirements and will discuss opportunities for your last semester, career exploration and graduate school. You will have a chance to review your SPIRE ARR with an advisor individually, after the meeting concludes to make sure you are on track to graduate!
