Responsibilities:

Psych 103 is a new class for incoming psychology majors that will introduce the requirements, opportunities, and potential career paths of the Psychology major.  Our SPACE peer mentoring program will be offered as an additional component to this class, so we’re looking for students to serve as both TAs for Psych 103 (assisting with classroom and online activities) and mentors to a small group of students (weekly meetings outside of class time).  Learn more here

Responsibilities:

Undergraduate TAs will:
- attend all lectures and help with in-class activities
- hold weekly office hours
- respond to student questions when appropriate
- lead review sessions and online discussions of course material
- take class notes
- grade short written assignments
- help with administration and proctoring of assignments

Responsibilities:

Undergraduate TAs will attend all lectures, hold regular weekly office hours, lead review sessions and online discussions of course material, provide feedback on student homework assignments, and assist with overall course administration in collaboration with graduate TAs.

Pre-requisites: Students should have taken Psych 360 (completed or taking this semester), with a grade of A- or higher, and cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
Times you must be available: Tuesdays and Thursdays 1:00-2:15pm, plus times (to be determined) for weekly office hours, review sessions, and meetings among members of the teaching team.

Responsibilities:

TAs will attend class and take notes, hold weekly office hours, create exam study guides, run exam review sessions, tutor students, grade assignments etc.

Pre-requisites: An A or A- in Psych 100 (or AP Psych 4/5); at least two 300+ psychology courses; a GPA of 3.2 or higher.

Responsibilities:

Lab TAs will assist with two lab sections per week; hold weekly office hours to meet with students as needed for help with research design, statistical analysis, and report writing; and attend regular TA meetings. One TA will be the Lecture TA and will attend lectures (instead of lab sections) and will assist with taking notes and running exam review sessions.
